The first try on a “Desk-PC”

Below some pictures of my first attempt to build a PC into a desk. You might ask yourself.. “It doesn’t look too bad, why did that guy trash this thing?” – Well here are some of the reasons:

• I am rather bad in wood working and do not have the appropriate tools
• It was not possible to sit comfortably on that desk. I constantly bumped into the corners of it.
• The entire construction would have become very heavy and therefore the lifting mechanism would have had problems to lift the desk.
• The vertical spacing was not enough. I would have run into problems fitting all the components properly.
